Thanks a lot for the replies folks. They were really helpful. Now I just have to find out the address (or any info) on Anderson Strathclyde. The firm seems to have disappeared without a trace into the mists of history (as, in fact, have all the steelworks!)

Defunct Steelworks and Pension Schemes. Some help please! I need some information about the addresses and pension schemes of the following firms. Most of them have long since gone. But if anyone knows anything about them, especially the pension schemes I'd be really grateful. These firms are: Cravens - (Darnall Sheffield) S. H Wards (? Cricket Inn Road) Jessop Saville ( Brightside Lane) Brown Bailey (? Leeds Road) Anderson Strathclyde (I have no information about this firm) Cravens Home Alloy (No info) Laycock's (? Archer Rd.)
