I know i have posted before about my choices but i am applying to uni in september for adult nursing but need experience. I am not sure wether to a part time science course or just try n find a job in a care home?Preferably in the rotherham / sheffield area. any help or advice contacts or addresses would be very helpful Thank you very much Zoe x

Yes, i will apply for an health scienec access course at college that is a years long. I also need experience within the care sector, hopefully some experience will help me decide which i would like to go into. I am also going to go to loads of uni open days for more information. I have applied for a healthcare role however i haven't heard anything back yet unfortunately. Yes in the Sheffield area, however i wouldn't mind travelling as much as i do drive. Really excited to finish my college course and get studying and get some experience under my belt. Many Thanks Zoe

I'm wanting to go to uni in a years time and i am unsure what to pick. I either want to do nursing or midwifery. I'm very unsure exactly what i want to go into and would like some tips and advice to help me decide. I already work in a hospital but cleaning so i have some sort of insight into it. For both courses at uni i also need experience in a care setting, that is why i am taking a year off. For midwifery i have looked and i think i may need an A Level in science but i would only have a year to do it until i go to uni (hopefully) Any tips or advice or contacts would be extremly useful! i need to apply for voluntary work in the summer but im a abit late for the hospital voluntary n i will have to apply in september for that. Any ideas in the meantime? or advice on becoming a nurse? Thanks Zoe

Does anyone know of any contacts or website links that i could get in touch with, as i wanting to gain a year of work experience to eventually be a nurse?
