Id have to agree, Ive cycled this route for over 2 years now, and it now seems to pit pedestrians against cyclists. When cycling from the city along South Street going into the middle to cross into the new section to cross young street, it has happened on more than one occasion that pedestrians appear from behind the large bushes that are part of moorfoot. This also hides oncomming traffic. I prefered the older layout where as a cyclist comming out of town I only had to turn across oncomming traffic once to the cycle lane next to the Premier inn. All in, it appears to be overly complicated.
