Am of an age where the only "cocktails" from my late teens / early twenties in Sheffield pubs were snakebite (or the lager version) and black velvet.

Both were a so and so to pour when I worked behind the bar in my local.

The first time I tried Black Velvet I was 21 years old and in All Bar One in town. I loved it... went on to have 7 pints of the stuff. Then proceeded to head to the toilets downstairs and created my very own version of Hansel and Gretel with a nice trail of Black liquid all the way down the stairs and through to the toilets. Classy.
