A family festival packed with cars, stalls, music and fun
One of the region’s long-running summer community events returns as the Bowshaw Festival & Classic Car Show takes over Bowshaw Showground in Dronfield.
First established in 2008 (originally as the Lowedges Festival), the event has grown into a lively day out featuring classic vehicles, a huge car boot sale, live entertainment and family attractions.
What to expect
Visitors can enjoy a full day of activities including:
Classic car, bike and scooter displays
Large car boot sale
Market stalls selling jewellery, sweets, cakes and more
Hot food vendors
Funfair rides provided by Tubys of Mexborough
Music stage (details to be announced)
Dance area (details to be announced)
Free kids’ activity area
The event aims to create a relaxed festival atmosphere with something for all ages.
Car boot sale
The main car boot runs from 12pm–6pm on the festival side of the site.
Additional car boot pitches are organised via Treasure Trove Car Boot Fairs, which run separately in the main car park.
