Southey Green Garage at the top of Southey hill are pretty good.

 

 

I would highly recommend them as my Grandad used to work there.

 

Although saying that my car is in there for repairs at the moment and the bill is currently standing at £1000 which includes £500 + VAT for a new ECU.

my car is in need of some serious work and I have done well over 100k miles and all I required on my MOT was 1 new tyre.

 

when I first purchased my car (ex demo, little milage) my MOT was always expensive at the dealers garage but it was required to keep with in its warranty = rip off

Stay well clear of the one opposite the old bus depot at halfway on the industrial estate (the one that does mainly tyres) bunch of pikey rip off merchants, cost me nearly £400 for a soddin mot after they had made loads of crap up about my car needing this and that and never kept the worn out parts replaced so i could inspect them....... :mad:
