Tinned Stewed Steak Recipes

Hello, Does anybody have any recipes using tinned stewed steak please? Maybe a pie or a casserole.

Growing up in the '60's, my mum used tinned steak to make us what she called a "plate pie". She'd make us a "plate pie" when she was short of time and/or money. She'd just heat up the tin of meat with a few extra bits of chopped onion, cooked diced carrots, a handful of frozen peas or whatever green veg she had, then she'd let it cool for a while, tip it into a deep enamel plate or shallow baking tin, stick a thick homemade pastry lid on it and bake in in a medium oven until the pastry was cooked. Sometimes we'd have it with home-made chips and mushy peas, sometimes with boiled or mashed potato, greens and gravy. We all loved it as kids..and it was quick, easy and quite cheap for my mum!
