Gaming Laptop Advice

My trusty old HP has finally packed I and I am looking for a new gaming Laptop. I have been looking at the HP Pavilions available at John Lewis. I know you have to dish out for a decent machine but I am only looking to spend around £800, less if possible. Any thoughts on the Pavilions? Has anyone seen any good deals of late? General advice?

Thanks

Have a friend help you out and look at custom laptops. You can usually get a decent one starting a 700(you can save a lot by not buying it with an O.S, if you can find a spare copy from your friends.

The laptop comes with a GTX 960m, which is probably mid-range, depending on what games you want to play really. I have a gt650m on my laptop and I have no problem running certain games. You can often get custom laptops a bit cheaper compared to brand ones. I have my custom for atleast 4 years now and it's fine. It's a bit slow as I haven't reformatted it but it's' reliable I can tell you that.

I get a ROG g752 delivered in the morning, have you got a laptop yet? I suggest one of these at around £929 its able to play all the latest titles in med-high most 2015 titles in ultra.

also what you plan on playing. I want a team for "rust" and will be a pc gamer this time tomorrow, hopefully see you around on the servers sometime
