dnb2861 Posted September 30, 2015 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Rehome or Sale? - Rehome Reason for Rehome / Sale - They had a good life and were free range until circumstances dictated that I had to move house, now they have a small pen and I would prefer to rehome them somewhere they can have the freedom that I can no longer provide. Sale Amount - Free Location - S5 Has the Pet been in Rescue Previously? - Bought from a breeder, never been battery hens, normally free range. Can the animal be picked up and put into a basket without the risk of scratching or biting? - Can be put in basket - although always fun trying to catch chickens Age & Sex - Both around a year old, females Breed/ Mix - 1 x white araucana, 1 x grey rumpless araucana. Both lay green / blue eggs Colour/coat type - Feathers as described above Can the animal be groomed/handled without biting or scratching? - N/A Live in / out - Outdoor Neutered/spayed - N/A Chipped - N/A Any Current or Historical Health or Psychological Issues - None Temperament - Friendly. Vaccinated & Wormed - N/A Any special knowledge needed - None. General Information you can share - In winter, feed them warm porridge in a morning to encourage egg laying, aside from that layers pellets and left overs is all they eat (They are particularly fond of left over curry).
