High voltage horn players needed!

The Soul Organization needs horn players.

 

We play uptempo 60s soul -- Otis, Wilson Pickett, Eddie Floyd, Sam & Dave etc -- and have one or two gigs a month lined up for the rest of the year.

 

We welcome improvers who want the opportunity to develop into good solid players. We're a good bunch and in it for the love of it, although the band bank balance is getting fatter. But we do want a professional attitude to playing and practising.

 

We need horn players -- in particular a trombonist, but saxs, trumpets also considered -- who love old soul.

 

Also, good opportunities to stretch out and solo for those who like to blow hot!

 

We practice on Thursdays.
