Jane123 Posted October 25, 2013 Share Posted October 25, 2013 Went to see Alastair McGowan at the City Hall last night - surprised he was in the Memorial Hall as I thought he would draw a larger audience. I thought he was brilliant - 2 hours of quick wit and wonderful impressions. Well worth the ticket price - would love to see him again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
milquetoast1 Posted October 25, 2013 Share Posted October 25, 2013 He seems to be playing smaller venues from what he has just said on R2 half an hour ago. I wish I'd gone. Saw Robin Ince and Rob Newman there recently and think it's the perfect sized venue for comedy. Would never entertain the idea of comedy at an arena venue, but maybe the City Hall at a push.
