Thorpe are also looking for senior players to play in division 3 of the South Yorkshire Leauge next season. The club is a committed club to providing coaching for kids to play cricket and has a Vision for the future to have a girls team / ladies team and 5 junior sides and 3 senior sides + midweek side anyone interested in playing cricket next season 2014-2015 contact details can be found on the Thorpe Hesley plays cricket website http://thorpehesley.play-cricket.com/home/home.asp would also like to know if any under 11s and under 15s would also be keen to play we have level 2 and level 1 coaches for training sessions we also run winter nets around February next year. Also are desperate to have a ladies side/girls team playing competitive matches from 2015/2016 season. obviously as the cricket season is about to finish but next season preparations are under way this is an outstanding facility and is a great place for kids to learn cricket and great for senior players to be part of a vision for the future of the club we do need players of all ages as we have a first team and are requiring a second team by season 2015. There are opportunities for children to play in local league cricket from 9 years up to 15 years and for players to play in our senior team from 15 years upwards whether you can bowl, bat, field , keep wicket we want to hear from you follow the link to the website where you can speak to someone regarding playing.
