Benjie92 Posted January 24, 2013 Share Posted January 24, 2013 We are a group of second year students at Sheffield Hallam University studying BSc Sport Business Management. As part of our degree we must plan and implement an event for either students or the community. For this, we have decided to hold a Battle of the Bands event in which emerging bands from Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield will perform and compete in a friendly but competitive atmosphere. The event is to take place on the 28th January and Walkabout, Carver Street is our venue. The charity we will be raising money for is Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, a charity located just outside of Sheffield providing support for children with shortened life expectancies. We have three student bands competing and special guests 'Exile 84' will also be performing on the night.
