Bruno Posted April 9, 2012 Share Posted April 9, 2012 Walk: Health Walk - Chapeltown Date: Wednesday 11th April 2012 Start time: Meet at 9:45am for a 10:00am start Meeting point: Outside Chapeltown Library Approx distance & duration: 3.0 miles 60 to 80 minutes. Route: Chapeltown and surrounding areas Terrain: roadside, paths, tracks, mud, wet leaves Parking: Plenty of Free parking. Refreshments & toilets: There are no toilets on route but there will be at cafe at end of walk. Public transport: Plenty of buses to Chapeltown fron Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield, as well as Trains which are every half hour either route Sheffield/Leeds Walk Leaders: Bruno Risk Assesment: Wet leaves, Traffic, some road walking, slippery paths, mud. IMPORTANT: Anyone joining the walk should be of a level of fitness relative to the walk being undertaken, be appropriately dressed, have suitable footwear..
