New Wooderson tracks (Sheffield post-punk)

Now then..

 

I play in a band called Wooderson, we play noisy post-punk type stuff, influenced by bands like Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Mission of Burma, Gang of Four, Wire, Trail of Dead etc...

 

We've just uploaded a new track called 'Mint Condition', off our forthcoming album 'Let The Man Speak', set to be released on vinyl via Bombed Out Records and Art For Blind (and another label TBA), it will also be released on CD, details to be announced soon.

 

The instruments where recorded in Sheffield at The Audacious Space with Karl Sveinsson, Vocals recorded and all mxing done by Ed Waring in The Crypt, Liversedge and mastering was done by Tom Woodhead/Hippocratic Mastering in Leeds.

 

There is also a cheeky 'b-side', if you will, called 'Blowhard', which we recorded in an hour or so back in October as part of the 'Album in a Day' project for the War On Want charity. We've only played it once or twice ever, it's a little nicer than most of our other stuff.
