Back for another electronic pre-club bar session - cosmic, house, Detroit, real electro (the Hague/80s/motor city kind), Warp and left-of-centre dance music from Hieroglyphic Being to Der Zyklus, for those who know the difference...

 

Pre-club hours (9pm ...til 12.30am-ish), courtyard out back, classic videogame/Detroit dance-off footage projected in the bar, absinthe/decent spirits/world beers on sale, nice bar staff, in a generally idiot-free environment hidden away just off West St. Requests on the wall if there's anything you'd like to hear.

Box Jams djs are at Not What You Know on Tuesday with Anthony Allen from SABBC - bit of an 'all back to mine' set of influences and favourite records

 

Then it's this bar session on the 9th, and the week after (Fri 16th) we're ramping things up at Sheffield Techno Institute at the Redhouse, playing more late-night Detroit techno/Tresor tackle
