Saxon   10 #1 Posted September 9, 2010 (edited) A great night of entertainment in store for all in a Yorkshire v Lancashire double value evening!  For the second consecutive year, the Sheffield Steeldogs take on the Manchester Phoenix in a hotly contested War of the Roses Challenge Cup game on Friday, 10th September at 7.30pm.  With Manchester taking home the silverware last season, the Steeldogs are hungry to beat their Lancashire rivals in this year's Cup clash, as well as in the League, for what would be the first time since Manchester moved to the Premier League last season.  This feisty match will be preceded by another contest on a smaller scale, as the U10's from both sides of the Pennines demonstrate the North's future talent in a 2 x 10 minute Exhibition match, starting at 6.35pm.  They will take to the ice again in the first period break when both U10's teams go up against the EPL back-up goalies in a penalty shoot-out.  Please come early and support all the players in what promises to be a lively evening at iceSheffield.  Tickets available on the door Adult £8.00 Child £3.00 Concession £6.00 Family £18.00 Under 8s Free. If the guys play as well tonight as last weekend it should be a great night, plus looking forward to watching the under 10's beforehand too!
