will the training be in sheffield,and would u get the proper certificates for what ever u do,i am mostley intresterd in the plastering and the gas safety certificate but not sure as i am a lady

Gas Engineer Course is 16 Weeks course, 8 hours per day for 3 days a week.

Eligibility Criteria

There are no eligibility requirements for candidates, however minimum entry level 3

Literacy / Numeracy is required

Plastering Course is 6 Hours a day, 2 days a week for 10 weeks

 

Plastering

 

Eligibility Criteria

This course is aimed at people wishing to gain basic trade skills in plastering whilst

working towards a nationally recognised qualification and gaining an overview of the

construction industry.

 

Candidates must be physically fit as manual work will be involved.

 

Course Contents

Introduction to Vocational Tutor.

Overview of Plastering programme and induction.

Health and Safety training linked to achievement of CSCS card.

Clients will choose 1 unit from seven City and Guilds 6217-01 units.

This includes taking a practical examination and a minimum of 30 Guided

Learning Hours.

Accredited learning is underpinned by unaccredited in-house training that

prepares clients for onsite work situations.

Training includes fitting plasterboard and artexing.

 

Qualification outcomes

Certification of accreditation for the 6217 unit completed.
