RTITB Fork Lift Truck Novice Training (Counter Balance & Reach)

8 hours per day for 6 days.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Undertake training and demonstrate competence in the handling and operation of plant equipment.

Must have reasonable IT skills and knowledge.

Must be able to follow tutor instructions and guidance

 

Course Contents

Health and Safety guidelines

Operator responsibilities

Pre-shift inspection

Identification of all main components

Correct driving and operation

Controls and instruments

Correct stacking methods

Accident prevention

Truck stability

Vehicle loading/unloading

Final assessment

Electrical Course

 

PACKAGE – 17th Edition to include Part P levels A, B & C

8 Hours per day for 12 days

 

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have 16th Edition or some background in teh same field

 

Course Contents

The course consists of classroom instruction and culminates in a multiple choice

online test covering the underpinning knowledge relating to the content and

application of BS 7671 17th Edition.

The exam is 'open book', meaning during the two hour exam you will be able to refer

to the 17th edition book.

There are eight units making up the course relating to Parts 1-7 and the Appendices

of BS 7671:2008: Scope, object and fundamental principles
