We've been to see loads. Some houses nicer than others as you can imagine but then i hear bad things about the roads. We are going on Ivy Hall Road i think it is tonight. Deep Lane, Homestead, Gregg House to name just a few. Also looking at one on Beacon Road in Wincobank. Any help would be fantastic

I'm looking at buying a house. I need it to be within walking / biking distance of the nothern general hospital as thats where my boyfriend works and as i work in Mexborough i need our car. Any suggestions on where to look would be fantastic

Can anyone tell me of any reasonable roads or area's in the S5 area? I am wanting to buy a house that is in walking / biking distance of the Northern General Hospital as that is where my partner works. Any info would be great. I've seen some lovely houses but then heard bad things about the streets. And as i am from the other side of Sheffield i don't know the area too well. Thank you

Where abouts did you live on it? On the main bit or little side bit

I don't know any on the shops near the northern general but if you go a bit further afield into firth park. Rice and Spice on Bellhouse road is fantastic value. Cheap and nice food, especially the pizza's. I did their sign and so my other half fetched a meal when it opened to see what it was like. Hope this helps a little

I am unsure as to what roads are best to be honest i am originally from the other side of Sheffield. Looks like we've lost the one on oaks fold due to a cash buyer but can't be help. We are just a quiet couple no kids as yet and are just looking for somewhere quiet and obviously we would like to avoid any trouble or high crime area's. If you could advise as to any roads like that it would be fantastic. Thank you

Thank you all for your comments. Just trying to put my mind at ease. I know theres good and bad everywhere but it would be nice to have a bit of good for a change. And Gina2007 your so right the bus is a nightmare as is the early morning wake up call from the cleaning ladies from the Hartley club chatting in the morning and i can often hear the bingo being called at the club at the weekends ha ha

I live on Bellhouse at the moment. Its the top end of Oaks Fold Road i'm thinking of moving too. I know and old man who lives a couple of doors down and apparently the neighbours are all elderly. Its very noisy where i am now so quiet would be fantastic although i don't like the thought of the robberies and car breaking

Is it quiet? I like that it backs onto the park but not sure whether kids would be noisy on there

I'm looking at buying an house there. The couple were lovely who are selling have lived there 30 odd years but believe they are retiring to mablethorpe, the house is in good shape and a good size. Its just the reputation that puts me off a little. We got a few more viewings lined up but this has been the best by far so far. I just see it as an investment so obviously looking at would it sell again if i wished to move on. Has your aunt ad any trouble on the near by shops or anything?

I have viewed an house on Butterthwaite Road and i'm wondering what the road and area is like as i am considering going for a second viewing. Any help would be much appreciated
