  1. For me….

Sad to see Baldock go. I think he could still have done a job for us.

Bash was always on the cards sadly since his injury.

Grbic I heard will be released on expiry of contract. Thank goodness.

Sad to see Osbourne go too. Would be a great fighter again in the Championship.

Never rated McBurnie. Bad signing for us in my opinion. No issues with him going.

Surprised to see Egan nearing the exit door. Would like him to stay.

Souza…I actually think there’s a talented footballer in there. Just doesn’t always show it. Happy if he stays, as he might come good. Won’t be surprised if he wants out though.

Why are we keeping Traore? He looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights.

And the one that makes my fluids  boil is Brewster. Biggest waste of money I have ever seen at this club. He has stolen a wage and done nothing. Utter waste.

We won’t be able to keep hold of our Bosnian I’m afraid, but I really hope Hamer sticks around. That lad is a great footballer, and always puts a shift in.

Players returning on expiry of their temporary contracts: Mason Holgate, Yasser Larouci, James McAtee, Ben Brereton Diaz.

Apart from Brereton Diaz, the rest can go back as far as I'm concerned.

Retained: Anel Ahmedhodzic, Oliver Arblaster, Cameron Archer, Rhian Brewster, Andre Brooks, Ismaila Coulibaly, Sam Curtis, Tom Davies, Ivo Grbic, Gus Hamer, Will Osula, Jack Robinson, Anis Slimane, Vini Souza, Benie Traore, Auston Trusty.

I’d expect some of these to have gone by August to pick up some money for new signings & reduce the current wage bill. Ahmedhodzic will be cashed in which will be a shame because at Championship level he's class, especially going forward.

As long as we can hold on to Arblaster & Hamer, it'll be a foundation for a new first team.  Of the rest, for me you could offload the World’s biggest pointer, Mr It's not my fault, Vini Souza.  Idle  b*gg**!

Anis Slimane, promised much but inconsistent. Ivo Grbic, please admit it was a mistake to sign this clown. I bet he's still going down for the last shot of the season. Ismaila Coulibaly, a bit of a useless luxury. Auston Trusty, just makes too many mistakes that have cost us this season.

The rest, well just have to keep until we find & afford better but the likes of Robinson & Brooks should be ok back in the Championship.

Option activated: Jayden Bogle, Rhys Norrington-Davies.  Shame, I’d like to have kept these 2 for at least until the Winter transfer window.

No McBurnie mentioned anywhere? Good but I believe he's out of contract anyway?  The rumours about him going to Ipswitch might be true then? I'll help him pack & drive him there at my own expense.

    You missed this bit pal:

Free transfer (ongoing discussions): Adam Davies, John Egan, Oli McBurnie, Ben Osborn.

George Hirst isn’t good enough for Wednesday.  He’s a fairly average league one player. I’d be disappointed if we resigned him.

He did quite well for an average League One player this season. Scoring 7 goals in 26 Championship games for a team that gained automatic promotion to the Premier League.

We went into the season with a weaker squad than the one that got promoted

Thats the biggest issue for me.

That was kissing goodbye to Premier League survival before we'd even kicked a ball.

Both Sharpe and Hirst would be good, we’re shipping several out so could afford the wages. On the subject of ‘shipping out’, I’m expecting Dawson to be one of them, I wish him all the very best, he’s a Sheffield lad and bleeds blue and white.

Is Hirst still under contract n xx season though?

The boys a Premier League player now.

... and he's not helped by saying that we want to heep hold of Bogle, Hamer and Arblaster..  Surely that is inviting attention from buying clubs.  I'd much rather he said he wanted to keep Grvic, Brewster, Lowe, Trusty, and Norwood!.... then stand back and hope someone comes to take them off our hands!

Hamer is class. Would hate to see him go.

The same  three teams that won promotion last season have been relegated this season, unless Forest lose their last two matches at a goal deficit of 13.

The difference between the Premier League and the rest of the leagues is wider than its ever been. It's all about money.

The only one I have any sympathy for is Luton Town. Fair play to them they gave it a go.

Burnley spent £100 Million and bought a player from us two weeks before the season kicked off and without our manager knowing anything about until it was done. Sander Berge has won Burnley FC's player of the season and the Players Player of the season. Burnley are relegated.

We never even gave it a go.  We have disinterested owner who wants rid and is only looking out for his own self interest.

Unless we have a change of both owner and manager things will only get worse. Wilder has been reported as saying that we may have to repeat what we did with Calvert -Lewin. Basically sell upcoming talent which was spotted and developed by our academy for peanuts ( Maguire, Walker, Naughton, Berge, Ndiaye ) and try to buy lesser but more experienced players to play in the lower division.

Recipe for disaster, unless things change dramatically we are going to struggle next season

Last season…Wednesday won promotion in the most dramatic way in front of 40 odd thousand Wednesdayites at Wembley…..& we all came away looking forward to establishing ourselves in the Championship…..step forward our beloved owner to kill all the previous weeks & months endeavours stone dead by getting rid of the man who made it all possible….

Fast forward 12 months…Wednesday retain Championship football in the most dramatic way & we can all look forward to next season & hope for big improvements under DR & his coaching team ….let’s hope our beloved owner doesn’t kill all the previous weeks & months endeavours stone dead & actually backs the manager with money & investment in the club ….

Reading between the lines …it’s not nailed on that DR will still be here next season….

Did you see DRs interview with Staton after the last match?

I don't know what was paid for the goalie but £2 was too much.

As for Wilder anyone who thinks we weren't down and out before he came is delusional.

Is he the right man for the job next season well have to wait and see.

However neither him Heckingbottom or anyone else on the management staff are to blame.

It was clear from before the start of the season what was going to happen and no one but that money grabbing shyster who stole the club in the first place is to blame.

    Agreed

What millions has he spent again.

    Mate…I know you like Wilder.

    I don’t.

    He’s a busted flush.

We’ll have to agree to disagree.

(Wasn’t it £2.5m  on Grbic so says Transfermkt) There’s you plural millions spent on dog****.).

  11. Absolute garbage. A returning failed manager spending millions (again) on sub-standard players.

    When will we learn?

The keeper is an absolute embarrassment.

The manager returned with a belt full of failures.

We have a joke of a defence (accepting the forced omissions of Robinson, Baldock, Egan, Basham).

I left 20 minutes before full time and wished I’d left earlier.

Time to get the **** out of our club.
