It is with sad regret that I have to inform you that Sweatshopboy passed away on Boxing Day evening after a short illness.
He loved the I'm Bored section and I'm sure he will be looking down and laughing with us all again from time to time.
Rest well Joe x

Who like me, switched over when the nonentity named Peter Andre appeared, what a complete waste of space, what have they got for us tomorrow that other talentless moron Tuffers? Time to put this show to bed it's had it's day, Willie or Fats to win.
I agree I am still waiting for something to happen this year,it has been one long bore from the beggining to the end I have not even voted because no one stands out as slightly entertaining.
Not like previous years.

because they are an alcoholic and cant do anything them self's they need the support around them to get the help that they need
They manage to get the Alchohol and drugs by themselves.
I saw a pensioner told to go home from The Northern General, she was sent home with painkillers for Gallstone Pain which is really bad, whilst all the doctors and nurses were busy trying to coax a Drinker/drug taker to stay in the hospital for treatment which he did not want to do and was getting quite aggresive.
More attention was given to this man than was given to the pensioner.
I have no sympathy.

Who does Fatima think she is? Not liking her, trying to pull rank just because she's an international olympian! and old enough to be marks mother!! Get her out
I agree,at first I thought she was alright but she seems to have a chip on her shoulder and full of her own importance. She will now get voted to do more tasks to pull her down a peg or two.

I think like previous years it will be left to the golden oldies to entertain us, and their are more of them this year.
I hope Freddie Star gets back from hospital soon.

What happened to the sexy demure women of the 50s to the 80s?
Some are drawing their old age pensions and others hitting the middle age mark
Yes and some looking quite good on it after living through some hard times a bit of hard work never killed anybody and we had to work to help look after our families not like today, we never got the hand outs todays generation get.
Here are some pensioners who look quite good.
Sophia Loren.
Catherine Denauve.
Doris Day.
Julie Andrews.
Maureen O Hara.
And what about the Queen in her eighties how fabulous does she look.
Oh and I forgot Shirley Anne Field.

Nellie was in the fifty,s.and early sixties.
Yes I was Talking about the Fifties and Sixties, I think this was the more feminine era and quite a few of todays fashion comes from that time.
Fashion Ballet Pumps.
Gypsy Skirts.
Gypsy Blouses(Jayne Russell)
White Cotton Blouses.
High Heel Stilleto Shoes.
And I noticed this Summer Quite a few feminine summer dresses I did notice there was some younger girls looking quite nice in these dresses.
One of my pet hates is what I call the Jeremy Kyle uniform, overweight women wearing leggings which are too small for them showing the builders bum with a strappy top showing big fleshy arms with bingo wings and everything hanging out at the sides.

shouldn't that read when men were men and women where glad of it?
Not at all Kidley,The women were very choosy and they liked a man suited and booted with a nice white shirt, and the women wore lovely cotton dresses with loads of net underskirts on very feminine.
No one night stands,no drugs, our enjoyment was singing and dancing going for walks the simple things in life.

We are all in our Sixties,Seventies, and Eighties sat in THE RAWSON SPRING having the time of our lives just like we used to in the good old days when men were men and women were women.

Hello Harvey The big yard where Havenhands lived was further down the lane from the big yard where my Gran lived so the photos would not help you,and they are mainly photos of the family small black and white so you cannot see much of the surrounding area.
-
I have a few photos of the big yard but none of Watery Lane,I remember the Havenhands but they lived further down the lane from us so did not know them well I think they had a big family.
-
It is surprising how they brought up all those kids in those small houses,my Gran was the same and thing is nearly everyone had large families my Gran had four girls and one boy all slept in a tiny attic.
