hi, What Sheffield newspaper was there in 1959/61 my dad rescued a baby from river don (weir head) roundabout these dates I know it was in with a picture of him. George victor fiddler known as vic ,but cannot find it would it just have been telegraph and star or just the star thank you linda

Hi gene When my Mam found out she took care and made sure she was okay we visited Annie regular in Claremont ,all their records were destroyed what is/will be available for firvale Linda

Hi gene, No she was put in As a child with her sibling ,think it was 1910 (without checking tree) she was in firvale most of her life Gladys and Annie Taylor in 1965 my mum got her and sister out of firvale hospital her sister was put in Claremont I can remember her getting a room across from usin1965 Linda

Hi gene, The binder said firvale workhouse it was on show when we had a look round the archives BUT they wouldn't let me see into it out of it was bound up Linda

Hi I went to archives about 4years ago looking for my aunt in 1921 the book I was shown could not be seen till 2021 as per the 100 year rule Linda

Hi all Trying to see if it's Phillip Gibbs born 1904 lived on shirehall rd was there on the 1911 census and what number Cannot access thisonancestry ,got too expensive If anyone with access to this any info really appreciated Linda
