PRESS RELEASE – 2 July 2013 from DECAT Ltd Our Big Gig/The Next Big Thing Our Big Gig is a community Music Celebration that takes place across the UK from 11th-14th July. This annual event aims to bring communities together to celebrate their musical talents and get people involved in making music. Students from Sheffield based DECAT Training (Darnall Education Centre Associated Training, formally Darnall Music Factory) and DMF Digital bring you a selection of the best up and coming bands, DJ’s and artists with music from a mix of genres celebrate the Creative Arts within Sheffield. The event will be held on Saturday 13th July at O2 Academy, doors open at 7pm and is FREE. The public will be able to get involved in live art with a musical theme and DJ workshops. Room 1 will showcase, Stop Drop Robot, Harley Likes Music, The Verals, Sour Cherry and End of Level Baddie. Room 2 will showcase, Liam Logik, Krashenbern, Five-o, Low Sec, Aztekkerz and Beatz 32 with special guest Coco.
