Speleo is absolutely 'bob on'. To try a quick fix, disconnect the appliance from all services and lay it on its side. You don't need to take the back off for this. At the spindle of the motor you will see the offending bushes disconnect the cables and unscrew the single screw in each bush and remove. Now if you're lucky the carbon bush may have worn and jammed in its housing, push the carbon rod in and out gently and blow away any dust, when moving freely simply reinstall. Now connect back up and you may be good for another 6 months.
