Mozart Quintets brings together three of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s most admired chamber works in a richly rewarding evening performance by Ensemble 360.

Taking place at the intimate Tanya Moiseiwitsch Playhouse, this concert offers audiences the chance to experience Mozart’s music up close — full of elegance, emotional depth, and unmistakable humanity.

The programme

The evening features three contrasting quintets, each highlighting a different facet of Mozart’s genius:

• Horn Quintet (approx. 16 minutes)
  A joyful and virtuosic work, bursting with warmth and character.

• Clarinet Quintet (approx. 31 minutes)
  One of Mozart’s most lyrical creations, written as he explored both his close musical friendships and the expressive potential of the then-new clarinet.

• String Quintet in G minor (approx. 35 minutes)
  Haunting, intense, and ultimately hopeful, this piece is widely regarded as the crowning achievement of Mozart’s writing for strings.

Together, these works form a compelling portrait of a composer whose music continues to resonate across centuries.
