One of Sheffield’s hottest new bands is stepping into the spotlight — Tellyeaters are set to headline Sidney&Matildaon Sunday 22 June, hot off the release of their self-titled debut EP and a string of sell-out support gigs across the city.

The alt-rock/post-punk four-piece have built a serious buzz with their raw sound, surreal lyricism, and electric live performances — and this is your chance to catch them on home turf.

🎸 Who Are Tellyeaters?

Born and bred in Sheffield, Tellyeaters blend dreamy guitar texturestechnical grooves, and introspective poetry. Their music has been described as “indie with teeth” — think jangly riffs with a dose of emotional grit.

Band members:

  • Daniel McGrail – vocals & lyrical depth

  • Jackson McSweeney – dreamy guitar tones

  • Otto Wightman – sharp, fluid drumming

  • Tom Naylor – punchy, rhythmic bass
