POISONOUS LITTLE CREATURES - LIVE!

After an absence of 36 years, Poisonous Little Creatures make their return to the stage. It will be the band's first gig for over three decades when they return at The Hallamshire Hotel, West Street, on Saturday 20th June, 2026: the only venue they played back in the day that hasn't been either demo'ed or closed down!

With founding member Pete Vanston retired from the stage, Denzil Watson (vocals), Kirk Nelson (guitars) and Michael Fearnley (drums) are joined by Denzil's ex-RepoMen bandmate Simon Tiller on bass and Lee Bradley on keyboards.

Sonically the band take their influences from the 80's indie/goth rock, including The Cure, The Sisters of Mercy and Joy Division as they revisit all of the old PLC classics.

The band's back catalogue has now been remastering and given a digital release via Phantom Power Records including their debut single "Head" b/w "Change Your Mind" and their debut and sole album, "Absolutely Nothing".

Special guests on the night will be the excellent OVERTON WIDOW, playing only their second-ever gig. Not to be missed either.
