Join us for an inspiring afternoon of short talks from people actively involved in protecting and improving Sheffield’s environment and green spaces.
As part of Sheffield Environment Weeks, this “community talks” session brings together a range of local groups, campaigners and community projects. Each speaker will give a short 10-minute introduction to their work, followed by the opportunity for questions.
The session will highlight practical environmental action happening across the city — from urban nature and community growing to plastic reduction, local history, sustainable living and moorland protection.
Sarah Emberson — Darnall Allotment Project & Green City Action
Louise Bull — Friends of Parkwood Springs
Clive Swinscoe — Moorland Monitors: Reclaim the Moors
