Cinderella – Lyceum Panto 2026

What is Cinderella – Lyceum Panto 2026?

Cinderella is officially confirmed as the Lyceum Theatre’s 2026 pantomime, returning to Sheffield for a magical festive run packed with laughs, sparkle and traditional panto fun.

A highlight of Christmas in Sheffield, the Lyceum panto is one of the city’s most-loved annual theatre traditions — and Cinderella promises another season of family-friendly brilliance.

Who’s starring in the 2026 panto?

Pantomime legend Damian Williams returns for his 19th year at the Lyceum, following the remarkable milestone of 1,000 performances in 2025. Further casting will be announced closer to the run.

The show is once again written and directed by Paul Hendy and produced by Evolution Productions — the acclaimed team behind recent Lyceum hits Snow White and Aladdin.

What can audiences expect?

As always, the Lyceum panto delivers top-quality festive entertainment, including:

  • Lavish sets and stunning costumes

  • Big musical numbers and familiar singalongs

  • Classic panto comedy and audience interaction

  • Plenty of laughs for children and adults alike

Don’t be late to the ball! This is panto done properly — loud, joyful and proudly Sheffield.

Why is the Lyceum panto so popular?

Year after year, families return to the Lyceum because the panto consistently combines:

  • Strong production values

  • Big-name panto performers

  • Sharp, modern jokes alongside tradition

  • A welcoming atmosphere for first-time theatre-goers

It’s a festive rite of passage for thousands of Sheffielders.
