Funhouse Comedy Club is back at the New Barrack Tavern, Sheffield on Sunday September 6th for a great night of laughter.
Headlining is Alun Cochrane who has appeared on numerous TV shows including Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Russell Howard’s Good News, Mock The Week and Coronation Street: as well as featuring on several BBC Radio shows, including co-hosting The Frank Skinner Show on Absolute Radio. With his unique gift for storytelling, he draws the audience in before dropping an inimitable punchline, leaving them in tears of laughter.
Opening the night will be award winning magician Alex Cahill with his cutting edge, interactive magic that is sure to provoke lots of laughter.
Also appearing is the absorbing Stephen Catling with his outlook on work as an autistic person and the struggles it can bring in the world as it is.
Completing the line-up is up and coming comedian Ben Robinson.
Compere for the night will be the clever and thought-provoking Anthony Williams.

Singer-songwriter John Reilly (voice of Boy on a Dolphin, Acoustic Angels) returns to one of his favourite venues - the iconic Greystones Back Room in Sheffield with pianist and composer Lewis Nitikman. for a Sunday evening session. It's an earlier start, 7.30pm, so not a late finish for those of you who have to work on Mondays !!
Join them for an evening of moving and inspirational songs and the usual banter when these two fabulous musicians get together. John Reilly will play a mixture of new songs,  old favourites, one or two Boy on a Dolphin tunes, and, of course, some amazing covers. A great chance to sit down, chill, listen and relax, it's an intimate, listening concert, no better way to spend a Sunday evening.

About last night……John Reilly and Lewis Nitikman anointed the good souls of Cricklade with their songs of love and grace. Such beautiful musicians, power punch melodies and lyrics that would make Taupin and Joel weep. Yes, I loved it, hard to distinguish the cover song from their crafted originals.
