Silent Thunder - Art exhibitionEveryone is welcome to Silent Thunder - Exploration of Colour, an art exhibition by Elesha Searles hosted at the magical Airy Fairy gift shop and cafe.
The exhibition explores the use of colour and light. Original art, prints and cards will be available for sale at the exhibition.
Exhibition opening times Tuesday - Saturday 12-5.30pm Sunday 12-5pm
Welcome drinks 6pm on Friday 1st May.

World Seniors Snooker Championship 2026 – Live at the Crucible, SheffieldLegends return to the home of snooker
The iconic Crucible Theatre once again becomes the centre of the snooker world as the World Seniors Snooker Championship returns to Sheffield in May 2026.
Broadcast live on Channel 5, the championship expands to 24 players, with a two-table setup in the early rounds — giving more competitors the rare honour of playing at snooker’s most famous venue.
A field packed with champions
The 2026 tournament features a stellar line-up of past world champions, fan favourites and international title holders, including:
Jimmy White – four-time World Seniors Champion
Ken Doherty
Stuart Bingham – making his Seniors Crucible debut
Reanne Evans – 12-time Women’s World Champion
Matthew Stevens
Tony Drago – famed as “the fastest cue in the world”
Also returning are ranking event winners Joe Perry and Dominic Dale, along with Alfie Burden, the defending World Seniors Champion.
A truly global championship
Working with international federations, the event also welcomes:
Igor Figueiredo – reigning World Seniors Champion
Craig Steadman – European Seniors Champion
Mohamed Samy Elkhayat – African Seniors Champion (Egypt)
Additional invitations will be announced, with places allocated via the World Seniors Snooker Tour and continental championships — underlining Sheffield’s role as the global home of the sport.
