Indie Beer Feast 2026 – Sheffield Craft Beer FestivalSheffield’s independent craft beer festival Indie Beer Feast returns for 2026, launching just before Sheffield Beer Week with a celebration of great beer, brilliant people and inclusive festival culture.
Taking place from Friday 6 to Saturday 7 March, Indie Beer Feast brings together independent breweries from across the UK, alongside street food, fine cider, natural wine and specialist rum, all hosted in one of Sheffield’s most characterful industrial venues.
What to Expect
This boutique beer festival is designed for quality, conversation and discovery, offering plenty of time to chat with brewers and producers while enjoying a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Brewery bars pouring independent craft beer
Specialist rum, cider and natural wine
A curated street food offering
A unique Indie Beer Feast festival glass included with entry
Pop-up tastings and talks throughout the event

Tastings, Talks & Guests
Members of the British Guild of Beer Writers will be hosting pop-up tastings and judging the Indie Beer Feast Beer of the Festival, including:

Rachel Auty (Women on Tap)
Adrian Tierney-Jones
Sheffield-based journalist and broadcaster Livia Barreira will also host tastings during the weekend.
The 2026 festival artwork is designed by Sheffield-based illustrator Sanpo.
Everyone Welcome
Indie Beer Feast proudly supports the Everyone Welcome Initiative. Discriminatory behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Festival staff are available throughout the site should you need support.
Important Information
Ages 18+ only (Challenge 25 in operation)
Children are welcome only during the Saturday morning session (11:30 am – 4:30 pm) when accompanied by parents
Please book a free child ticket if attending the morning session
Bars operate mainly cashless / contactless payment
Disabled access and baby changing facilities available
Outdoor courtyard in use until 10:00 pm

Sheffield Orchid Show and Exotic Plant FairAn exciting array of amazing orchid displays and seven of the UK's top exotic plant vendors, two of whom are RHS Chelsea Gold Medal winners, selling exotic plants. These include carnivorous plants, orchids, aroids, terrariums, cacti and air plants. car parking is available and hot drinks and snacks will be on sale. The event is run by Sheffield Orchid Society and is held at St. John's Church hall, abbeydale Road South, S17 3LE. Tickets cost £5 and are available from Eventbrite or on the door.

Sheffield Linux User's Group - March 2026 MeetingThe next ShefLUG meeting is on the 7th of March 2025. at… Morrisons – Hillsborough, Sheffield 699 Penistone Road, Sheffield, S6 2GY 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. if you want to do that. The topic of the meeting will be a general discussion about GNU/Linux and BSD or we can fix some hardware or software. If you need some help with that kind of thing we can probably point you in the right direction. If you want to know more about anything please come along and ask questions. The most recent releases of Ubuntu, OpenSuSE and Fedora and Debian and Linux Mint and Arch Linux will probably be discussed. Just about any version of GNU/Linux or BSD is welcome. Most people who come along to our meetings have used most versions of GNU/Linux and the BSDs. Please come along if you need some help. Ask for the community room in the store.
