The Freelancer Skills Workshop: The Creative Facilitator’s Playbook is an energising, practical session designed for creatives who want to confidently design and lead engaging workshops, collaborative projects, and group-based creative experiences.
Delivered in partnership with Fair Collective and Culture Sheffield, this workshop takes place at Gut Level in Sheffield city centre.
What you’ll learn
Through creative warm-ups, visual storytelling, and collaborative exercises, participants will explore how facilitation skills can strengthen existing creative practice and open up new income streams. The session is suitable whether you’re already running workshops or simply curious about adding facilitation to your freelance offering.

Designing engaging creative activities and exercises
Reading the room and managing group dynamics and energy

The Rocky Horror Show – Sheffield LyceumThe world’s biggest party musical returns to Sheffield
Ready to thrill audiences with fun, frocks, and fabulous nonsense, The Rocky Horror Show returns to Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre as part of a brand-new world tour.
Created by Richard O’Brien, this legendary rock ’n’ roll musical has been seen by over 35 million theatregoers worldwide and remains one of the most celebrated and interactive theatre experiences of all time.
What’s the story?
The show follows squeaky-clean college sweethearts Brad and his fiancée Janet. When their car breaks down outside a mysterious mansion while travelling to visit their former college professor, they encounter the charismatic and outrageous Dr Frank-n-Furter — and nothing is ever the same again.
What follows is an unforgettable night of fun, frolics, frocks, and frivolity, packed with cult characters, outrageous moments, and audience participation that has made the show a global phenomenon.
Songs, spectacle, and sheer fun
Directed by Christopher Luscombe, The Rocky Horror Show is theatre at its most playful — featuring iconic songs including Sweet Transvestite, Dammit Janet, and the pelvic-thrusting, show-stopping Time Warp. Expect a party atmosphere, bold costumes, and a night Sheffield audiences will be talking about long after the final curtain.
Whether you’re a long-time fan or experiencing it for the first time, this is a must-see event for anyone looking for something unforgettable to do in Sheffield this January.
