Are you planning or considering having your baby at home? Have you had a home birth and want to share your story? Are you a practitioner providing services that compliment home birth? If so the Sheffield home birth group could help you! A friendly, welcoming & free home birth support group based in Sheffield. The Sheffield home birth group was founded in 2011 to support expectant parents who were considering or had decided to have a home birth. Funded by the local NCT (http://www.nct.org.uk/branches/sheffield-rotherham) and run by antenatal teachers; the Sheffield home birth group meets monthly, usually during the first week in every month. During the sessions you can share home birth stories, talk about the practicalities of home birth, meet others who are considering or who have had a home birth and ask any questions you may have. Everyone is welcome and refreshments are provided. Although the group is free, donations are gratefully accepted on the night.
