Morris ( Gasping Gus ) Chapman passed away this morning.

Gus wrote a book about Violet May with John Firminger

In the sixties he met his all time great. Calr Perkins

He ran his own (Sun sound club) in the sixties playing atThe Ball Inn Crooks, The Staniforth arms, The Blue Ball on Broad Street.

Among the bands who played at His club where Cluck Fowler, Dave Hawley , Steve Denton, Frank White and the Hillbilly Cats who also played at his Birthday Bash...

Sadly missed by all Sheffield Musicians

Anyone who met Gus was (Sure to Fall ) for his warmth and humour
