You should see the state of the roads that are getting done around Norton Lees at the moment. Roads done but with potholes left, some roads with signs saying loose chippings and raised manholes so obviously not finished but then they have painted road markings, and drainage grates covered. I had to take photos otherwise nobody would believe it.

Just to make you aware that a gang of 5 are targeting businesses in and around Handsworth, Woodhouse Mill, Woodhouse and Killamarsh.

A number of businesses have been targeted twice within the same week, it has now come to light via CCTV footage that the same gang have targeted other commercial buildings in and around the area.

The gang appear to be quite brazen and are not afraid that CCTV is recording.

The Police are aware of these break ins however sometimes community support is the best source of information.

A good brickie will charge by the number of bricks they lay. Major Contractors (Henry Boots etc) will also offer rates by the number laid.

I know one big company that we work with are paying £500 per 1000 bricks.

We got the results, but no voting form for us as parents or for my daughter

id enquire with the school as to why, certainly not on if you have been missed.

All children were issued with a form outlining the changes/options and this contained a voting form.

We received one, was brought home by our Y7 daughter and she took it back.

We also received a letter (again daughter brought it home) informing us of the results and costs etc. They received 600 returns out of 900 pupils

Make a trip to "Steve's Meats" at Greenhill, you will definitely not be dissapointed. We too used to go to Battys at Woodseats (who are reasonable) but the meat at Steve's is absolutely fantastic.
