  1. Hi, please can someone help me. I bought a pack of fresh sausage meat and pastry and put them in the freezer before Christmas. A few weeks later I thoroughly defrosted them in the fridge and made sausage rolls and cooked them in the oven; most of which I put back in the freezer again.

Will they be safe to eat, as they have been in the freezer twice?

    Thanks

  2. No need to be snotty if you have not moved when applying and your offered your choice of school you can keep that place.

If you move prior to applying then the application must have your new address.

Perhaps you should try reading the guide for parents next time  :

Thanks. I didn't mean to be snotty. I'm going through a stressful time at the moment. Thanks for your help.

  3. Our son will be 4 at the end of this month and he will be starting school in September 2012. We have to apply for his school place by January 2012. We currently live in Hunter's Bar but my husband and I are currently experiencing serious relationship dificulties so there is no guarantee we will still be in the same area by the time our son goes to school, although we will be still living in the same address at least until early 2012. Would we still keep his school place if we moved addresses?

    Thanks for your help.

  4. Has anyone tried 10 motives E Cigs, I just picked up this leaflet from TESCO on Infirmary road and was tempted to give em a go.

I was just curious of the cost of them and if they're really are a good substitute for a proper smoke.

I have tried the disposable 10 motives e-cig which I picked up at a petrol station on Abbeydale Road. The taste was a bit odd and took got a bit of getting used to, and it only lasted 3 days, but was more like the real thing than another brand I tried. I think you're better off getting the refillable ones rather than the disposables, as the latter don't seem good value for money (may as well buy some proper cigarettes!)

  5. Has anyone managed to sell their wedding dress? I have tried this Forum, eBay and Rock my Wedding.com but have had no success. Are there any bridal shops in Sheffield that take second-hand dresses?

By the way I am putting my dress up for sale for the second time on the Classified section of this forum if anyone is interested in buying it.

    Thanks Sarah0574

  6. It's my son's 3rd birthday coming up. So far, he's only had a cheap trike with plastic wheels and long handle, with me pushing him along. He is only just reaching the pedals and has not quite got the hang of pedalling or steering yet! We hardly ever use it, though, because (a) he never asks to go out on it and (b) it's so noisy with those cheap plastic wheels and © he just sits on it while I push so he doesn't get any real exercise.

I was wondering whether he is ready for me to get him a new trike for his birthday, this time a better quality one with rubber wheels. Or should I go for a scooter or a 'proper' bike? Though I'm not sure he's ready.

    Any advice welcomed.

  7. My house-mate only feeds her adult cat with half a pouch of cat food in the evening and some dry biscuits in the morning which it grazes on but doesn't seem to like much.

The cat is very lean and always meowing as if it wants more food. I work from home so it's a bit annoying. I think the cat should have at least one pouch a day as well as its dry food but my house-mate is dead against me doing this and won't even allow me to give the cat an occasional tit-bit.

I'm worried that me and my house-mate are going to fall out about this. Should I just leave the matter alone and leave the feeding up to her (which is difficult when she works late or goes to the gym after work some days), or do people think I have a genuine concern here?
