About the Venue

The Sheffield City Hall Ballroom is a versatile and elegant events space located within the iconic Sheffield City Hall in the heart of Sheffield city centre. Part of the original City Hall building opened in 1932, the Ballroom combines historic character with flexible staging, making it well suited to a wide range of live events.

With a capacity of up to around 850 depending on layout, the Ballroom regularly hosts standing gigs, seated concerts, comedy, club nights, talks, awards ceremonies and private events. Its adaptable floor plan allows the room to be configured for standing audiences, cabaret-style seating or fully seated performances, offering promoters and organisers a highly flexible mid-sized venue in a prime central location. As part of the Grade II* listed City Hall complex, it benefits from excellent transport links, professional technical facilities and on-site amenities.
