A free Sheffield community screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing — Thursday 16 July, 7–9pm at Hallam Hall (SHU City Campus), S1 1WB.
The People’s Emergency Briefing is a short, calm and non‑partisan film that explains — in plain language — how changes in climate and nature are already affecting everyday life here in Sheffield. It covers things like food prices, health, local infrastructure and community resilience, with a focus on what’s happening now rather than distant future scenarios.
There’ll be a short discussion afterwards. All Sheffield MPs and Councillors have been invited so local representatives are aware of the event. Everyone welcome — families, neighbours, local groups and community organisations.
