This two-day event offers visitors the opportunity to celebrate the borough and the people who call it home with an inspiring, joyful, and epic programme including outdoor theatre, live music, horticultural heroes, sport activities, circus delights, pop-up performances, cracking comedy, fairground thrills, and fun aplenty!

Rotherham Show offers an extravaganza of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy, celebrating the uniqueness and spirit of the borough and giving people the chance to make lasting memories together.
Alongside all of this you will also find stalls to browse, food and drink, the Festival Village from Flux Rotherham, show favourites including Strongmen Competitions, Companion Dog Show,
6th September will host EV's Up North Display with an original Tesla.
7th September will be the Vintage Vehicle Display.

In the Children’s Capital of Culture Area expect to see talented young people, workshops, live music performances,  beloved Rotherham organisations such as Grimm and Co., Wentworth Woodhouse, and more, giving a taster of all the exciting things to expect from their festival year.

Brace yourselves, rock fans – Sheffield and South Yorkshire’s biggest open-air celebration of pure, unfiltered rock ‘n’ roll is back! The Rockin The Bowl Festival is ready to shake the very foundations of The Forge Warehouse– Sheffield.  Over one electrifying day, a hand-picked selection of some of the finest acts in the business will take the stage, promising a sonic feast for headbangers and rockers alike.
This year’s main stage boasts a stellar line-up that’s sure to blow your minds. Prepare to lose yourself to the raw energy of The Kris Barras Band on one of their only headline performances, made even more special as it will be the same day as Kris Barras’s 40th birthday. The next ShefLUG meeting is on the 6th of September 2025. at…  Morrisons – 299 The Common, Ecclesfield, Sheffield, S35 9AE 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. if you want to do that. The topic of the meeting will be a general discussion about GNU/Linux and BSD or we can fix some hardware or software.  If you need some help with that kind of thing we can probably point you in the right direction.   If you want to know more about anything please come along and ask questions.  The most recent releases of Ubuntu, OpenSuSE and Fedora and Debian and Linux Mint and Arch Linux will probably be discussed.  Just about any version of GNU/Linux or BSD is welcome. Most people who come along to our meetings have used most versions of GNU/Linux and the BSDs.  Please come along if you need some help. Ask for the community room in the store.
