turra21 Â Â 10 #38 Posted September 21, 2007 Lisa, the 3 needle bind off does leave a ridge on the outside of the toe but as Wheezy says it's not noticeable when they're worn. Â See what I mean?
 Share this content via...
Plain Talker   11 #39 Posted September 21, 2007 I do the 3NBO inside out, then you don't see anything outside the sock.
 Share this content via...
peakwool   10 #40 Posted September 21, 2007 Hi to Bionicdreams. I am fininshing two teacosies - still open to offers. I have two cardies to sew up. Must do that. I have the purple monster afghan and I am half way through a extra chunky bag. I also have the baby blanket to finish before my niece has her baby. Better hurry! I am beginning to plan the next afghans. Also designing the cushion covers that my son wants. ps Hi to everyone else too
 Share this content via...

turra21 Â Â 10 #43 Posted September 22, 2007 I do the 3NBO inside out, then you don't see anything outside the sock. Â Is it uncomfortable though?
 Share this content via...
Wheezy   10 #44 Posted September 22, 2007 Is it uncomfortable though?  Sorry to answer your question PT, but my kids don't complain turra21, and the yarn is soft anyway so to touch, it isn't rough.
 Share this content via...
knitbird   10 #45 Posted September 22, 2007 I do the three needle cast off too, and I've not found the resulting sock uncomfortable. It also ensures my socks get finished rather than waiting for the sewing up fairy to visit.
 Share this content via...
