Whatif wewin   10 #25 Posted November 30, 2007 True, making it too close to call.  Well yes, that is why I am sitting on the fence. Ricky is British so I want him to win.  The day after this fight is the BBC sports personality of the year award, the poll is by phone on the night. Assuming no more phone scandals; if Ricky wins his fight he should be favourite to get the award.
 Share this content via...
briggy1967 Â Â 10 #26 Posted November 30, 2007 Would love LOVE Hatton to kick Mayweathers arse but cant see it happening,Mayweather is type of boxer who can adapt to another boxers style,Hatton is a great fighter but i think Mayweather will be too clever and too quick for him. Will be a banging fight though....cant wait
 Share this content via...
Heyesey   11 #27 Posted November 30, 2007 Just had a bizarre dream in which I watched this fight (highly unlikely, it's almost certainly on a channel I don't get), and Hatton surrenedered by going and sitting in his corner after about a minute and a half.  I think it's safe to say that this dream will not come true. I can't imagine Hatton surrendering if his opponent was armed with a machine gun.
 Share this content via...
not wanted   10 #28 Posted December 1, 2007 I don't think Mayweather is taking Hatton seriously and that will be his undoing
 Share this content via...

freyasdad   10 #30 Posted December 1, 2007 Is there odds on a rematch? I hope Hatton puts him on the floor time after time after time.
 Share this content via...
Code13 Â Â 10 #31 Posted December 3, 2007 I don't think a rematch is likely. The talk is more of Ricky fighting Oscar de la Hoya at Wembley Stadium next summer, whether he wins or "looks good in a losing performance".
 Share this content via...
Daryl24 Â Â 10 #32 Posted December 3, 2007 I'm going for Ricky to win with a retirement in round 10, i reckon his body punches will be too much for Floyd "the best ever" Mayweather. Â Going all Kevin Keegan now - i would love it, absolutely love it if Ricky sparked him out, that would shut his big gob!
 Share this content via...
Longcol   600 #33 Posted December 3, 2007 In fights like this I usually predict that it's the fighter with the most scar tissue on their face / disfigured nose etc who will take the most punishment.  Therefore Merryweather for me.
