Sheffield Artist from the 60/70's

Recommended Posts

k here's a long shot if ever there was one.

I have a painting (pic to follow) painted sometime in the 60's to late 70's

I think,

it contains an image of amongst others david bowie so could be later not sure ?...

it was painted by a 20 or so year old girl, who lived on abbeydale rd. she'd be about 55/65 now I reckon.

as far as I know she was a hippy type and painted quite a lot during that era.and of a similar type

the painting is of six or seven famous musicians, inc bowie, elvis, buddy holly, cher, and couple of others i can't name.

just their heads, each is a different colour (ie elvis is blue, cher red, buddy green )and they all merge in a slight vortex its very psychedelic, oil on board about 3ft sq.

just seeing if anyone knows of anyone who might fit the bill.
