Glennis   15 #277 Posted August 10, 2010 I hate it, but always have. It's full of students, men with beards (and daft hair) and middle aged women who think they are cool coz they're in the Lescar.  That's my husband you are talking about. mind you, I agree. Frohike   10 #278 Posted August 13, 2010 There is far better places just 50 yards away!  Fancy naming them?????
 Share this content via...
sushi   10 #279 Posted August 13, 2010 I find the new look lescar to be very forced with its decor. I think its trying to be hip and a little kitsch but they tried too hard. Really cool places dont need to try. I used to be a regular cause i liked the atmosphere but that seems to be lost now.Its a rare occasion that i pop in now and thats only when im meeting people who want to go there. I find the beer a bit pricey too. A pal of mine had one of the fancy beers they do, some strawberry effort. He wasnt too pleased when he had to pay 7 quid for it in what is supposed to be a local pub.
 Share this content via...

Dani J Â Â 10 #281 Posted August 15, 2010 At one time, The Lescar had an unspoiled art deco interior that the brewery riped out and 'updated.' I used to go there all the time. it's just another pub now, I go elsewhere.
 Share this content via...

Liam_ward   10 #283 Posted August 19, 2010 I used to like this place but now it has gone down hill. Still a local but i would only go in about once a week and only stay for one or two.
 Share this content via...
