chrisp7091   10 #13 Posted August 19, 2007 Dunno if I have any favourites, but here are a few I don't mind:  http://www.pbase.com/chrisp7091/image/84123976  My daughter with her chocolate pudding liberally smeared around her face!  http://www.pbase.com/chrisp7091/image/66615704  Interesting buildings in Attercliffe.  http://www.pbase.com/chrisp7091/image/84123934  A vew of part of Sheffield that I thought can't have changed much for many years  http://www.pbase.com/chrisp7091/image/67223175  Just a bit of fun. carter101 Â Â 10 #14 Posted August 22, 2007 I had to do a bit of tweaking to get the perspective of the bridge right because of the wide-angle lens, but the rest is mostly untouched. I took others on the same evening that are probably better "picture postcard" photos of the city harbour, but this is the one I like looking at the most. Â Hi, what wide angle lens did you use for this picture? I'm trying to work out a "wish list" of more camera kit!
 Share this content via...
willman   10 #15 Posted August 22, 2007  this is the favourite for today.
 Share this content via...
papillon   10 #16 Posted August 23, 2007 My photo website has around 550 of what I (critically) think are my best photos on there now, so it's really difficult to choose.  I guess my favourite is probably this one, but I love my recent photos from Egypt too.  My whole portolio is at http://www.neuroticcamel.com/photoblog. And seeing as this is a pimping thread, I'd really appreciate feedback, as I don't get many comments when I update the photos! AJ sheffield   11 #18 Posted September 1, 2007 Tomorrow, I would probably choose a different favourite but today: Nothing too spectacular about this night shot taken in Crookes but I love the textures.  Thats an excellent picture. PeteM01 Â Â 10 #19 Posted September 2, 2007 Thats an excellent picture. Â Thanks AJ. The way a locality is transformed by night and snow is a real interest of mine. Â Have you posted any spider shots? Â Pete
 Share this content via...
BoroughGal   10 #20 Posted September 2, 2007 I'm not a photographer, and I don't know how to 'fiddle' with the photo's, but this is one of my favourite photo's that I've taken.  It's taken in Statue Park, Budapest, where they've managed save all their huge, imposing, iconic statues from the communist era. I had to climb up a wall to get the shot right!
 Share this content via...
AJ sheffield   11 #21 Posted September 2, 2007 Thanks AJ. The way a locality is transformed by night and snow is a real interest of mine. Have you posted any spider shots?  Pete  I took many photos of my collection using a normal 35mm camera but I was a terrible photographer. Its all about the macro with insects and they were not very impressive. I have some photos but I dont have a scanner so theres little I can do. PeteM01 Â Â 10 #22 Posted September 2, 2007 Wysseri from this group has taken some lovely digital macros. Perhaps they can get close enough to get some nice shots? Close-ups of the complex eyes of spiders are fantastic!
 Share this content via...
Phanerothyme   12 #23 Posted September 5, 2007 My best one so far this year  Onions
 Share this content via...
JoanCrawford   10 #24 Posted September 6, 2007 Wow, such a lot of talented photographers, your pictures are just gorgeous! I am fairly new to photography but a few weeks ago my boyfriend and I decided to take photos of some of our favourite places in Sheffield, especially those that looked in danger of disappearing within the next few years. Spookily one of them was the Gatecrasher building which burnt down the following week, and another was the Alfred BEckett works in S3 that got flooded the following week - are we jinxed, d'ya think?! However, one of my favourite photos was this one - a little place we came across purely by accident when we were taking photos around Neepsend.
