EMac Screen shake/tremmer

Recommended Posts

Hi

My eMac is around three years old and the monitor has recently started to shale slightly from time to time. At the moment it isn't a constant thing, however when it happens, I am almost certain the comuter is going to shut down and die on me!

Has anyone else experienced this? What was the outcome? Or, does anyone know what it could be?

Many thanks

Claire

Hi

It isn't by a radiator, however I guess my mobile may sometimes be on the desk with the eMac, but I wouldn't say close, and it's rare too!

well dial a call on your mobile (your house phone?), and put it on your desk where you put it, watch the screen, see if thats the same ;)

No it goes beyond that I'm afraid... it really isn't anything to do with the mobile, eveything to do with mobile is definitely ruled out.. thanks anyway!

Is it all over the screen or just one part of it? Mine does have a noticeable screen flicker (rather than a tremor) when it's doing something memory intensive; either that or I'm gazing at the screen more intently because I'm waiting for it to finish doing it!
