I was there three years I think it was -- left in 1967 - posted a pic on friends reunited - but only got one reply !! I remember Mr Greenough but he took us for geography -- remember Mr Turton, and the head at the time was, I think, Mr Egerton -- can't remember the deputy but seem to recall he was ex army with some kind of plate on his chest that he used to beat on !! Had a real good mate called Mick Wheatley, but not been in touch since my early 20's -- OOPS

Hi BigDaveC, remember those. I left in 66. Deputy was called Houdmont, mass of gray hair, liked to shout a lot. Remember Bill machin for PE? Evil sod, Brian standing Technical drawing? Peter Jennings science?

Was Mr Lancaster there when you went? Do any other pre 1973 leavers remember him?

I remember Mr Houdmont walking down the corridor with his arm out and hand made into a fist and if we weren't on the correct side we got knocked out of the way. He was still there when I left in 71. He was tough but well liked.

Hi Just wondering if anyone can remember Michael Joel (Mick). We are having a 60th Birthday Party for him on the 26th September and it would be good to find some of his old school pals or anyone from that area who knew him.

If you knew him let me know please.

Ang

Seven of the most miserable years of my young life! Appalling conditions and poor building maintenance, twice my books got wet because the window frames leaked.

However, saying that, there was some sunshine………..the girls lovely gorgeous girls, Karen Stead…….. Andrea Yeardley and the most beautiful Lesley Hamilton:love:. Three of the most stunning girls/women I have ever had the pleasure to share space with, (Only in the queue for lunch of course and when I was 14)!

Anyone remember those three beauties?

Good days…….hmmm not sure, tough days, yup that’s for sure, I had to run the gauntlet every night and lunchtime from the low-life’s of Ashley:loopy:.
