Dont know if anyone will remember me kept myself to myself for the most part, my name is Kevin Hadden, some of the other names i can remember apart from Alan Hill are, Joy Haddon (no relation different spelling) Hyasynth Mitchell (sp) Pete Stonehouse, a girl named Morley cant remember her first name we used to call her spiderlegs. Ill see if i can think of anyone else. I hated football and tennis, I played rugby for the school and Basketball (Hurlfield Globetrotters)lol.

Anyway as i said ill put me thinking cap on and see if i can come up with any more names. Take care.

Another girl i seem to remember was called Kim but again dont know her surname either, and i cant think of the name of the lad she went out with he was in our class too.

I cant remember much about school cos i hated every minute of it,so i just did what i had to do and got out as quick as possible.

You must have gone the same time as Len and me. What form where you in? What made it horrible for me it was sport and some really vicious bullies!

i cant remember the form number but i was not a mixer , i kept myself to myself as i hated every minute of school. i'm going to try to find my old reports to see what form i was in. i was bullied out of school on my way home every night so i know how you feel shakespear.

Lennonman.

The memories came flooding back when I knew your name. Sorry, but the nickname for a well known brand of dog food came flooding into the grey matter. A lot of my friends came from your class. Wasn't Raymond Connelly in it. And there was a Julie Moxon, who lived near me, before the boot houses were demolished (the ones below Prince Ed. School). Julie went to live at Handsworth (she was married to somebody called Spencer). Steven Wragg too was in it or was he? He was Claypole's cuz and he married Marie Wood. They dated at school and a few years later (after leaving) married. I think they are now divorced. Sadly Raymond and his elder brother Steven are no longer with us I understand and it seems they both died from incidents with knives.

Does anyone remember the outdoor pursuits centre ?, Brownhead Farm near Pickering on the North Yorkshire moors. Think we had a few sponsered swims to raise money for it. Went a couple of times, no proper toilets, only an old style porto loo, remember we had to take it in turns to empty it, dig a hole in the ground and empty its contents into it.

Think the school has since sold this farm, does anyone know?

Remember the Woodwork teacher Robinson! Still got a bedside cabinet I made in the class. Naylor or Dalton (can't think which) was my form teacher after Mr Lancaster. We were in library for registration best seats in the place. Mr Radford was head of our year I really liked him. Best bloke in the school.

Anyone remember the East Wing roof coming off in a gales and landing in Gleadless somewhere. Also the fights with Ashliegh that seem to occur at the end of terms.

Anyway Shakespere about the dogfood...must admit i have to laugh everytime i see it in the supermarket its me int it!!

Do remember Wraggy but think his name is Terry, he was a right character very funny lad, did see him with Marie a few years ago. Do remember both Connelly's as well, was a real shock to hear about them. Also Julie Moxon rings a bell though i dont think i knew her that well. Robert Horton, Barry Fearn, Kevin Bloodworth, Andy Booth, Tony Lowe, all manor lads if i remember.

You are still keeping me in suspenders with your name arent you mate, still cant place you.

anyway keep the memories coming

Sent you a private message on the name.

You are right about Terry's name! Ray and Steven sorry to shock you. I think one of them was killed by their father. Steven once showed me the scars from previous fights he had with sharp points. Marie's mum is still on the Manor she's in that last Boot House waiting for a house to move into! Nearly four years now since demolition started.

Robert Horton gave me a big hug last time I saw him. I think he said he had been married about 3 or 4 times!

Did you leave in the easter or summer? I left summer and I remember what was left of us in the youth club and being told to get off the grounds fast or be put on detention as they teachers had got wind of a fight with Ashliegh! Marvelous parting words!!
