I remember Mr Morrell, Mr Smith,(Tutor) Mr Burgin (woodwork) Miss Lavell (Library) Miss Hughes (music) Miss Hall PE Miss Hoole (Featherstone) PE, Mr Colgreaves, Frank Whitehouse, Miss Revitt, Mrs Baraneski (Lethal with a cane!) Bill Phillips, Mr Aizelwood, then Mr Roberts, Mr Whitam, Mr Farrar, Mr Smith, Viv Garrett, Mrs Glover (cooking in school flat) Miss Windle, Mr Bettison (French - Used to sing and play his guitar) Mr Felce, Bertie Blades. Went on School barge wi Mr Smith & Mr Burgin girls & boys rooms - yea right! We all went to the pub at night. Remember doing school play Dracula Spectacula! Spend loads of time being 'ill' in medical room. Smoking behind the workshops. Doin cross country pass Brinsworth comp and cutting through Aurora field. A fantastic Youth Club Tue n Friday nights calling at supermarket on Tinsley shops for a bottle of ClanDew or cider to drink at back of 'Dell's' b4 going to 'youthie'. Calling at the bakery before school for 2oz of sherbert pips, apple sours or cola cubes. School dinners - chips, cheese croquette and beans a blob of ice cream and a drink of cola (cola floats) all for 20pence. School years - the best years of your lives!
